- Gary is a third-generation resident of Poudre Park, a mountain hamlet in the lower Poudre Canyon in northern Colorado. Gary is founder and a current board member of Friends of the Poudre, a grassroots organization with the goal of preserving and enhancing the Poudre River, the last free-flowing river in Colorado.
